To My Dear Friend Su, with love Chris. Consider A Lake, A River, Ocean or Stream Glistening and warmed by the Sun and its radiant beam, And as they mist they rise and rise, To become cotton wool blankets in the clear blue skies. Clinging droplets that fall they rain to the ground, To stream, to River, to Ocean, the journey goes round. The water so complicated, so unlike me, As the parts of my body are only three, My Spirit, my soul, my life giving force, Carbon chains by the billions, But mostly Water of course. And as my life force is exhausted and I’m gone for while, Please do not be saddened, think of me and smile, For the Water that is in me will always remain And I shall kiss and caress you as soft summer rain.
